History and Examination

To determine the actual problem, the doctor will ask you various questions about your condition. Next, we will perform numerous specialized tests to determine which tissues are affected and their magnitude.

X Rays

Your specific condition might require us to request x-rays to either eliminate more serious conditions or assist us in developing the most effective treatment plan for you. Should we recommend X-rays we have an offsite radiology department.

Same Day Treatment

When finished with the examination and all the appropriate studies, patients will generally receive their first treatment during this same visit. This treatment may include spinal adjustments, physical therapies, and soft tissue therapies.

Home Instructions

Before leaving, patients will be given instructions on certain activities or procedures to be conducted at home. Instructions could include ice or heat application instructions, avoidance of certain activities or positions, as well as home exercises and stretches.

You will be given a convenient appointment time for your follow-up visit. Generally speaking, patients are seen within 1-2 days and are given a complete overview of findings. We will also discuss treatment options for your condition during this time.
